As I stated last year on my blog, fall is my favorite time of year. I absolutely LOVE the month of October and this past weekend was so great! I went to Lawton to stay with my friend Cristina. Her and I both love Halloween and haunted houses and scary movies so we decided to buy tickets to the Trail of Fear that is out there in Lawton. It happened to be the first night of the event, so it was not crowded at all (which was nice).

There were four attractions in all:
The Trail of Fear: This interesting haunted attraction looked innocent enough, and kinda lame at first. However, once we were in there the screaming seemed to never end! Ghoulies were popping out from all over the place and the trail went on and on and on. And of course, poor Cristina had to deal with me digging my fingers into her arm the whole way through. Is it sad that two ghoulies actually "high-fived" each other after giving Cristina and I a ridiculously HUGE scare? Yah, that actually happened.
The Cirque de Morte: This was a maze where we wore 3D glasses and ran from clowns. Seriously. And if you know me, you know that I am NOT a fan of clowns. They are just creepy. Oh, and this place was a real maze... meaning.... we kept ending up back in the same place we started and getting all confused. You could go down different corridors and you had to guess which way was right. This made for an entertaining adventure......
The Crispy Family Carnival: This attraction was a sideshow type of ordeal. The actors did crazy tricks such as sword swallowing, dancing with fire, etc. Overall it was very entertaining. Lots of laughs and lots of "ewww gross, did they just do that???" comments. And to end the show, I got to staple a $20 bill to Mr. Crispy's forehead. Don't believe me? Here is the picture.

The Voodoo Bayou: The bayou was the last stop on our frightful adventure. We rode on a trailer out into the middle of nowhere, far away from the main gates. Five of us were dropped off in this crazy outdoor/indoor maze haunted trail/house thingy. Now THIS one seemed to last forever! People were chasing us all over the place and scaring us half to death. If you have ever been around me at haunted houses you know that I am terrified of the chainsaw guys. Well, here comes the chainsaw guy, out of nowhere, chasing and screaming at us. The whole group was headed towards the exit, even though we didn't really know where that was. Somehow I ended up getting seperated from the rest of the group. The creepy chainsaw man was chasing me. I somehow got away and hid in one of the corridors. All of a sudden I saw this kid who was in our group running like crazy right in front of me with the chainsaw guy chasing after him. I was pretty much laughing like a crazy woman because this is the first time I saw someone else reacting like that to a chainsaw guy... and it was a guy! haha. I thought I was in the clear but realized soon I wasn't. All of my group, plus all of the ghoulies (minus Mr Chainsaw) had gone out the exit and SHUT the door behind them. I was STUCK ALONE in the maze WITH the chainsaw man. Seriously guys? They literally had me in there with him for five long minutes. I had to listen to Cristina screaming at me from the other side of the wall to figure out where the exit was. It was NUTS.

This was by far the best haunted attraction I have ever been to. Lots of attractions, lots of screams. I am hoping to get a big group of friends to go next year. I am sure Ryan would just love it :)
