Can we pretend that airplanes in the night sky are like shooting stars.....

Well, it has been an interesting time since Ryan left (again) about a month ago. I have had my ups and downs, my emotions very from week to week. Sometimes I feel positive about this whole experience, thinking it will bring us closer together in the end and strengthen our relationship. Then sometimes I get extremely down because March or April of next year seems SO far away. :( But, I still try to make the best of it. I have talked to Ryan several times since he has been gone and he is keeping his spirits up, so there is no reason why I can't do the same.

On the days that I am not hiding under my blankets trying to sleep the next 9 month away I can be found reading or watching movies, Or hanging with my awesome friends and family. A rock band night was neccessary soon after Ryan left. Jackie, Garrett, Makenzie, Joey, Kari and Mike came over and kept me entertained. :)

I decided to have a cookout the Sunday before 4th of July. Several people joined me and Joey Griffith was the grill master, while his wife, Kari, helped me with everything else. It was a fun night of food, catchphrase and Rock Band (of course).

A few weekends ago Allison, my sis-in-law, and I decided to have a "sisters night out" at Louie's on the Lake. We met up with some of her friends and had a blast.

John and Steph's wedding was the following evening at the Petroleum Club in Edmond. I am so very happy for these two. They have known each other a LONG time and it is so wonderful to see them happy. :) After the reception, Julia and I headed to Bricktown for one of my closest friend's bachelorette party. Cristina Anderson is marring Eric Dotson at the end of this month in Florida. I am not able to attend the wedding since it is so far away, but I am SO very happy for my friend. She deserves nothing but happiness. :)

The following afternoon, Angie Webb and I hosted a baby shower for Dianna Miskovsky. Unfortunately I forgot my camera but I know others took pictures. As soon as some of those are posted on facebook I will post them to my blog! It was a great shower, Dianna seemed to really enjoy it. :)

I have been keeping busy for the most part, but its not easy. I miss Ryan like crazy, and its worse at night time. My sleep patterns have been completely messed up, which makes it impossible to focus when I am at work. and of course, work is extremely stressful and will continue this way for the next few months. I love my job, I am just a bit drained from all of the chaos lately.

I hope everyone out there is doing well. I am very thankful for the people in my life. Love u all!
