Honeymoon in Aruba: Day 4

Thursday was a very exciting day. This was the day that I got to parasail for the first time in my life! I was extremely nervous to do this. I have never had a horrible fear of heights, but I don't necessarily like heights either! There were about 8 of us on the boat and most of us parasailed one at a time. Ryan was first up in the air! I trusted him to take our new video camera with him and he never once dropped it in the water! I was up after Ryan and I was SCARED! Taking off was a bit scary but once I was up in the air everything was all good. I had the occasional freak out when the wind would blow really hard, causing my harness and me to shake all over the place. But, for the most part, it was really fun and looking at the ocean and island from all the way up there was SO beautiful! I was not brave like Ryan so I did not take my camera or the video camera with me.

After parasailing we went to the beach and then the pool to relax. We had a few drinks at the swim up bar for happy hour and then retreated back to the villa to get ready for our next adventure.

The Tattoo Party Boat was our next destination. We walked along the beach to get to one of the docs over by a different hotel. We took a small boat taxi over to the big Tattoo Boat, a three-level boat with loud music and bright lights all over the place.

As soon as we stepped onto the boat we were greeted by the friendly waitstaff and got our first drinks of the night. After exploring the boat for a bit we came across a couple from Oklahoma! This was a big shock to us considering all of the other couples/tourists we met were from the East Coast. The Oklahoma couple became our hangout buddies the rest of the night. While we sipped on our cocktails we enjoyed the music as well as several performers and dancers. They even had a Michael Jackson impersonator on the boat!

Around 6 we had a tasty dinner on the 3rd floor of the boat and then headed back down to the main level for more music and dancing. I finally got Ryan to dance with me for a just a little bit at the end of the night. Before our excursion was over we made sure to jump off the boat on the rope swing. Yes, I was in a dress, but hey, everyone else was doing it! So why not? :) We also purchased a few t-shirts on the boat so we can always remember how much fun we had.

When we got back to the villa we changed into our new attire and chilled at the casino a bit before calling it a night.
